Psalm 1  [nasb]

BOOK 1

The Righteous and the Wicked Contrasted.

[vs 1] How blessed is the man who (A)does 

not walk in the (B)counsel of the wicked,

Nor stand in the [a](C)path of sinners,

Nor (D)sit in the seat of scoffers!

[vs 2] But his (E)delight is (F)in 

the law of the LORD,

(G)day and (H)night.

[vs 3] He will be like (I)a tree firmly planted 

by [b]streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season

And its [c]leaf does not wither;

And [d]in whatever he does, (J)he prospers.

[vs 4] The wicked are not so,

But they are like (K)chaff which the wind drives away.

[vs 5] Therefore (L)the wicked will not stand in the (M)judgment,

Nor sinners in (N)the assembly of the righteous.

[vs 6]  For the LORD [e](O)knows the way of the righteous,

But the way of (P)the wicked will perish.

Psalm 2  [nasb]

New American Standard Bible The Reign of the LORD’S Anointed.

[vs 1] Why are the nations in an uproar
And the peoples devising a vain thing?

[vs 2]The kings of the earth take their stand

And the rulers take counsel together

 Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying,

[vs 3] “Let us tear their fetters apart
And cast away their cords from us!”
[vs 4] He who sits in the heavens laughs,
The Lord scoffs at them.
[vs 5] Then He will speak to them in His anger
 And terrify them in His fury, saying,
[vs 6] “But as for Me, I have installed My King
Upon Zion, My holy mountain.”
[vs 7] “I will surely tell of the decree of the LORD:
He said to Me, ‘You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You.
[vs 8] ‘Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance,
 And the very ends of the earth as Your possession.
[vs 9] ‘You shall break them with a rod of iron,

You shall shatter them like earthenware.’”

[vs 10] Now therefore, O kings, show discernment;
Take warning, O judges of the earth.
[vs 11] Worship the LORD with reverence
And rejoice with trembling.
[vs 12] Do homage to the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way,
For His wrath may soon be kindled.
How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!

Morning Prayer of Trust in God.

A Psalm of David, when [a]he fled from Absalom his son.

[vs 1]  O LORD, how (A)my adversaries have increased!

Many are rising up against me.

[vs 2] Many are saying [b]of my soul,

“There is no [c](B)deliverance for him in God.” [d]Selah.

[vs 3] But You, O LORD, are (C)a shield about me,

My (D)glory, and the One who (E)lifts my head.

[vs 4] I was crying to the LORD with my voice,

And He (F)answered me from (G)His holy [e]mountain. Selah.

[vs 5] [f]I (H)lay down and slept;

I awoke, for the LORD sustains me.

[vs 6] I will (I)not be afraid of ten thousands of people

Who have (J)set themselves against me round about.

[vs 1] (A)Answer me when (B)I call, O God [b]of my righteousness!

You have [c](C)relieved me in my distress;

Be (D)gracious to me and (E)hear my prayer.

[vs 2] O sons of men, how long will (F)my [d]honor become (G)a reproach?

How long will you love (H)what is worthless and aim at (I)deception? [e]Selah.

[vs 3] But know that the LORD has [f](J)set apart the (K)godly man for Himself;

The LORD (L)hears when I call to Him.

[vs 1] (A)Give ear to my words, O LORD,
Consider my [b](B)groaning.
[vs 2] Heed (C)the sound of my cry for help, (D)my King and my God,
For to You I pray.
[vs 3] In the morning, O LORD, [c]You will hear my voice;
In the (E)morning I will order my [d]prayer to You and eagerly (F)watch.
[vs 4] For You are not a God (G)who takes pleasure in wickedness;
(H)No evil [e]dwells with You.
[vs 5] The (I)boastful shall not (J)stand before Your eyes;
You (K)hate all who do iniquity.
[vs 6] You (L)destroy those who speak falsehood;
The LORD abhors (M)the man of bloodshed and deceit.
[vs 7] But as for me, (N)by Your abundant lovingkindness I will enter Your house,
[f]At Your holy temple I will (O)bow in (P)reverence for You.
[vs 8] O LORD, (Q)lead me (R)in Your righteousness (S)because of [g]my foes;
Make Your way [h]straight before me.

Their (U)inward part is destruction itself.

Let them ever sing for joy;

That those who (AC)love Your name may exult in You.

[vs 1] O LORD, (A)do not rebuke me in Your anger,
Nor chasten me in Your wrath.
[vs 2] Be gracious to me, O LORD, for I am (B)pining away;
(C)Heal me, O LORD, for (D)my bones are dismayed.
[vs 3] And my (E)soul is greatly dismayed;
But You, O LORD—(F)how long?
[vs 4] Return, O LORD, (G)rescue my [b]soul;
Save me because of Your lovingkindness.
[vs 5] For (H)there is no [c]mention of You in death;
In [d]Sheol who will give You thanks?
[vs 6] I am (I)weary with my sighing;
Every night I make my bed swim,
I dissolve my couch with (J)my tears.

Spending time with GOD

FATHER GOD  praise Your Most Beautiful Loving Name.  You are just  to Merciful and Compassionate to us FATHER GOD.... You give and give  and ask for so little in return.

All that You ask of us FATHER GOD is to love You to reach out  to You. 

FATHER GOD Your WORD  shows us how to come into Your Magnificent Presence and never 

ever want to leave  Your Presence  to be out of Your presence O GOD is worse than death.  

GOD thank You so much for Your Love and Compassion and providing a way to come to You...
